Those who have stood at the foothills of mountains, or who have seen the sun rise over an open expanse of ocean understand the humbling of their own beings.  The beauty of nature stands in striking contrast to the chaos of my profession as an Emergency Medicine Physician.  My goal is to capture a moment of time with my work.  While a photograph may capture a moment in time, it’s difficult to describe the feeling of an ocean mist, a scorching sun, or the smell after a rain.   My shots can never do justice to the experience of being there, but it is my goal to try and present the experience as best I can.
