About me
My name is David Begleiter and I am based in South Florida. I am a physician, a father, photographer, and traveler.
My day (and sometimes night) job is that of an Emergency Medicine Physician. As an ER doctor, my days can be quite chaotic. To get a glimpse of my job, here is a clip from television's Untold Stories of the ER, where I was featured as one of the doctors. I have come to rely upon photography as an outlet and a means by which to decompress.
I am a self-taught photographer who is continuing to learn how to master this art. I strive to emulate such greats as Ansel Adams, Art Wolfe, and Peter Lik.
My photographic interests run the gamut from beautiful landscapes, wildlife, macros,
and architecture.
I have been fortunate enough to have traveled the world and to capture scenery ranging from Hawaii and Alaska, to the Florida Everglades, and my very own backyard.
